Mobile Workforce Management
Implementing a successful Mobile Workforce Management solution is dependant on many factors beyond the implementation of technology. It requries a full understanding of the overall business objectives, current processes, requires a performance measurement framework along with the organisations current performance captured in that framework and an effective change management program to ensure business readiness and project execution
FieldForce4 is not only a technology company, many of our staff have worked in operational roles within industry (including roles as CEO and COO for large utility companies) and are fully aware of operational best practice when it comes to workforce optimisation and measurement. FieldForce4 adds value to our clients by advising on best practice, industry benchmarking and industry trends.
Project Governance: Projects succeed or fail based on the project governance. FF4 overlays a structure of governance (steering group) on projects to ensure success. Additionally, for larger projects an executive level assurance officer is installed to independently monitor and if needs be, audit project progress to assure success.
Project and Programme Management: Our project managers are experts in large scale, complex integration projects with experience covering service and engineering industries and large transformation projects up to $80M.
FieldForce4 has successfully implemented numerous workforce optimisation systems. Our expert staff are able to implement technology systems faster, avoid mistakes and costly rework due to experience gained in multiple implementations.
Requirements & Design: FieldForce4 provides a design and scoping service for technology projects. Before project commencement FF4 conducts a full project review and defines project scope, integration points and design so that project scope, cost and timelines can be accurately estimated (no one wants surprises). We also provide requirements traceability at the end of a project to ensure that all requirements have been met
Development and Testing: FieldForce4 has on-shore software development staff and a software development centre in India. This allows FF4 to deliver high quality development and test resources at realistic prices. Development covers ClickMobile forms development, report development (operational and performance reports) and system integration
Implementation and Support: FieldForce4 manages the implementation of new systems as they transition from development to live operation and on to support. This covers both deploying and activating new technology along with the associated business and process change. FF4 provides full support documentation to ensure ongoing and sustainable support when the project is completed.
Consulting & Change Management
Implementing new technology for workforce optimisation usually involves significant business process change and in some cases, significant organisational change and/or restructuring. FieldForce4 has a team of expert change managers who have extensive experience with managing change
Organisational change is usually categorised into People, Process and System change supported by training and communication/stakeholder management
People: FF4 are able to provide examples of best practice organisational structures for field support organisations along with suggested job descriptions and can assist with organisational change transitions
Process: FF4 can provide samples of best practice TOMs (Target Operation Models) to assist the change process (it is always good to know where you are heading). The change team manages the transition from the old way of doing things to the new way by documenting processes and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
System: As new systems are implemented the change team supports the transition process including documenting business continuity processes in the event of system failures
Training: FF4 develops training material and delivers training on processes and systems
Communications and Stakeholder Management: Successful projects require the full support and commitment of all stakeholders impacted by the project. The change team manages stakeholder communications through all levels of the organisation to ensure that everyone is on board and that everyone knows what is happening
